Vellora Beacon is a web design studio for local service businesses, based in Reading, Pennsylvania, USA, and operated personally by Halvie Gonzalez. You can reach us at vellorabeacon@gmail.com.

What this policy covers

This policy covers the Vellora Beacon agency page and the three concept pages it links to: Tidewell Home Cleaning, Calder Street Barbers and Fieldstone & Fern Landscapes. Those three businesses are fictional. Their pages are design demonstrations, and no real company sits behind them to receive, store or act on anything you enter.

Forms on this site

Every form on this site runs entirely in your browser:

• What you type is held in the open page’s memory so it can be checked and shown back to you as a summary. The site’s own code does not send it to us or to anyone else, and does not save it. The one exception you control is the webmail buttons on the agency form (Gmail, Outlook.com and Yahoo Mail), which place your answers in a link to the provider you choose, as described under Emailing us. Reloading or closing the page discards the page’s copy, but your browser may keep its own copies independently, for example through form autofill, history or session restore.
• The cleaning quote, barbershop booking and landscaping planner are demonstrations. They do not submit, book, reserve or contact anyone.
• Copy puts the summary on your device’s clipboard. Download .txt saves a text file to your device. Neither sends anything. Once copied or downloaded, that text is on your device and outside this site’s control.

Emailing us

You can send us an inquiry in any of these ways:

• On the agency inquiry form, “Open in email app” opens your own email application with a message to vellorabeacon@gmail.com already filled in from your answers. Nothing is sent unless you press Send there.
• The Gmail, Outlook.com and Yahoo Mail buttons open that service’s compose page in a new browser tab with the same message filled in. To do this, your answers are placed in the web address of that page, so the provider you pick receives them when the page opens, even if you do not press Send: Google for Gmail (Google Privacy Policy), Microsoft for Outlook.com (Microsoft Privacy Statement) or Yahoo for Yahoo Mail (Yahoo Privacy Policy). Nothing is sent to us unless you press Send there. If you would rather not share your draft with a provider before deciding, use another option.
• You can copy or download your draft and send it yourself from any email account.
• You can write to vellorabeacon@gmail.com or hello@vellorabeacon.com directly, including through the email and webmail links on this site.

In every case, the email is sent by you, from your own email account. The website does not deliver the email to us; you must press Send in your chosen email app or service.

If you do send us an email, we receive it in a Gmail mailbox provided by Google, and Google processes it under the Google Privacy Policy. We use what you send to reply to you and to discuss the work you asked about. Your own email provider also handles the message on your side. Email sent to hello@vellorabeacon.com is received by Cloudflare Email Routing and forwarded to that same Gmail mailbox, so Cloudflare also processes it, under the Cloudflare Privacy Policy.

Our mailbox is connected to OpenAI’s ChatGPT Gmail integration, which we have authorized to read, draft and send messages in that mailbox when we use it. If you email us, the content of your message may therefore be processed with this AI assistance, under the OpenAI Privacy Policy, when we use it to help us read and reply to inquiries. It is not set up to read every incoming message automatically.

How long we keep inquiries

If an inquiry does not turn into work, we normally delete the inquiry emails and our own working copies of them 90 days after our last contact with you. We keep a record longer only when it is needed for an active client relationship, for work we have agreed to provide, for a dispute or for a legal requirement, and we remove it once it is no longer needed for that reason.

This deletion is done by us as part of handling our mailbox; it is not an automatic process. Copies and backups held by our providers, such as Google for Gmail or OpenAI for the ChatGPT integration, are kept under those providers’ own policies, which we do not control.

Hosting and traffic analytics

This site is hosted by OpenAI on its ChatGPT Sites service, at vellorabeacon.com and also at its platform address, vellora-beacon.halviegonzalez12.chatgpt.site. As the ChatGPT Sites documentation describes, Sites records traffic automatically and shows us aggregate totals, such as unique visitors and page views over time. Our own pages contain no analytics, advertising or tracking scripts.

To deliver the pages and keep the service secure, the hosting provider receives technical details of each request your browser makes, such as your IP address and browser and device information. That processing, and how long the provider keeps those records, is controlled by OpenAI under the OpenAI Privacy Policy. We do not set those retention periods, and our 90-day inquiry practice above does not apply to them.

Cookies and browser storage

Our own page code does not set cookies or use your browser’s local storage.

The hosting platform can set cookies of its own. When we checked on October 5, 2026, loading this site set a cookie named __cf_bm for chatgpt.site. It comes from Cloudflare, the network service in front of the platform. Cloudflare’s cookie documentation explains that this cookie supports its bot-protection products, which identify and mitigate automated traffic, and that it expires after 30 minutes of continuous inactivity.

Which platform cookies are set can vary with your browser, your region and security checks, so this is not a complete list. OpenAI describes its cookie practices and the choices it offers in the OpenAI Cookie Policy. We cannot change the platform’s cookies from this site, so we do not show a cookie banner that would suggest otherwise. You can block or delete cookies in your browser’s settings; blocking security cookies may cause some sites to show extra checks or not work as expected.

Web fonts

The pages load their typefaces from Google Fonts. When a page opens, your browser requests the font files from Google’s servers (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com), so Google receives standard request information such as your IP address. Google explains how it handles these requests in its Google Fonts privacy FAQ and the Google Privacy Policy.

Questions and requests

If you have emailed us and would like to ask what we hold, or ask us to delete your messages, write to vellorabeacon@gmail.com. We may ask for enough detail to make sure we do not share someone else’s information with you. Because forms on this site are not sent to us, we have nothing from them to look up. For information held by a provider, such as hosting records, use that provider’s own privacy process; the policies linked above explain how.

Changes to this policy

If the way this site handles information changes, we will update this page and its effective date.
